Research Hub
The Research Hub is where we ask the questions no one else is asking - and pay women to find the answers. We believe that research shouldn't be extractive, and that the people closest to the problem are also the ones best positioned to explore solutions. That's why we commission women to lead investigations into gender-specific experiences in privacy and cryptography.
Our first commissioned research project dives into how UX/UI design in cryptographic tools shifts depending on the gender of the designer-and what that means for usability, accessibility, and trust. This kind of research doesn't just surface insights; it challenges norms and makes invisible dynamics visible. It asks: who is privacy designed for? And who gets left out?
This is one of the most central pieces of our initiative. We're building an ongoing research program that uplifts women as investigators, not just subjects. If you're a researcher with an idea, a funder looking to support radical inquiry, or a curious observer who wants to see what's next-this is the hub.
